Born on a farm in Fremont, Michigan, Kristy started painting when she was in her teens. She has always been fascinated with color and the way that light plays on horses, cattle, and nature. Kristy is a graduate of Michigan State University and has been a graphic designer with her company, Polonyx, LLC since 1996. She invented a urethane horseshoe called Ground Control Horseshoes which she sells around the world.
In 1996, Kristy started Polonyx LLC. As a graphic designer with over 30 years of experience, Kristy specializes in everything from brochures, logos, web sites, posters, postcards, business cards, magazines, books, and much more.

Urethane Horseshoe Inventor
In 1999, Kristy Watson invented a urethane horseshoe that she has manufactured in Boerne. It is now used on horses around the world for better shock absorption, traction, and comfort.
The AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center president
Starting in 1992, Kristy became involved with the Agricultural Heritage Center, Inc. in Boerne, Texas. In 2018, when the museum was about to lose their lease with the city of Boerne, Kristy stepped in as the new president to renew the museum, rebrand it, and partnered with the HCCARTS organization to bring it back to life.
